Being confident is one of the biggest traits a lot of people lack. Confidence in a person self-ties with self-esteem; it can either improve or deteriorate your self-assurance. These are different ways that can help a person become more confident in his or herself:
1. SURROUND YOURSELF WITH POSITIVE PEOPLE
This is a very important aspect of bringing up your self-confidence. Being with people that say self-positive things about you, give you compliments on your look and who you are will make you feel more confident.
2. WEAR CLOTHES THAT LOOKS GOOD ON YOUR BODY
This is a very important thing a lot of people do not realize. Wearing clothes that make you feel sexy increases your self-esteem. When I was young, I used to wear sneakers with jeans and it really affected my self-esteem until I started investing in boots and clothes that I really love and fit my body shape.
3. PROCLAIM POSITIVITY TO YOURSELF
Always tell yourself that you are beautiful, look into the mirror and tell yourself “damn… I have a very sexy jawline, my buttock is so perfect…my lips is so sexy and mostly, I am the most beautiful person on earth”. If you keep doing this to yourself, you will realize that you will begin to have a positive attitude toward yourself. Look for the best feature in yourself and focus on it. If you have nice abs, go to the beach and show it off. If you have a nice leg, wear a pant or skirt that shows off the legs.
4. DON’T COMPARE YOURSELF TO OTHERS
This is a reason why a lot of people have low confidence. Comparing yourself to other people will make you see the best in them and the worst in you. Instead of comparing yourself to other people, compliment others and focus on the positivity about yourself.
5. DELETE YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA APP FOR 3 DAYS IN A WEEK.
Social media has led to a lot of women and young girls having low confidence in themselves. The best way to increase your confidence and self-esteem is to be blindsided by the post of other social media users. This lead to the comparison of yourself and other people on social media. Although I post a perfect picture on social media, I do not look perfect all the time but a lot of people might be mistaken and judge themselves based on the post.
