CARIBBEAN RESTAURANT IN NYC: FOOTPRINT BROOKLYN REVIEW

I rarely visit Caribbean restaurants, so this restaurant definitely changed my stance on Carribean restaurants. The footprint is a small but fancy restaurant, and It has a bar. Upon arrival, I had to wait for twenty minutes which was disappointing. I stood for twenty minutes at the entrance because there were limited tables. Although we stood up for a long time, we were entertained with a karaoke which was great.

FOOD REVIEW

The food preparation was lengthy but I was very satisfied with it. I ordered lemonade, goat meat, a side of rice and plantain. It is one of my favorite restaurant dishes. Although I had a bad experience upon arrival, the food was beyond expectation.  Also, the restaurant requires a group of four people to pay a certain amount for tips. I did not like the request because tips are optional and should not be mandatory. I will rate my experience here a 6/10 but the food is a 10/10.
